Active ingredient
Each ml suspension contains:
Albendazole 100 mg

Indications
For the removal of the following helminthes in sheep and goats:
Gastro-intestinal nematodes:
Haemonchus contortus, Ostertagia circumcinta, Ostertagia trifurcata, Trichostrongylus axei, Trichostrongylus colubriformis, Trichostrongylus vitrinus, Cooperia curticei, Nematodirus fillicolis, Chabertia ovina, Oesophagostomum venulsum.
Lung nematodes:
Dictyocaulus filiria
Cestodes (tapeworm):
Moniezia benedini, Moniezia expansa, Moniezia denticulata.
Hepatic trematodes:
Fasciola hepatica (mature forms).

Dosage and administration
To be administered as oral drench to cattle.
The dosage for the removal of gastro-intestinal nematodes, lungworm and cestodes is:
0.75 ml of Alben 10% per 10 kg body weight, in a single dose.
The dosage for the removal of hepatic trematodes (liver –flukes) is:
1.00 ml of Alben 10% per 10 kg body weight, in a single dose.

Safety
Safety margin is up to 5 times the therapeutic dose. The tolerance level by oral route is 7.5 ml per 10 kg of body weight.

Withdrawal Period
Meat: 14 days.
Milk: 4 days.
