Active ingredients
Each litre contains:
| Sulfaquinoxaline | 40 gm |
| Trimethoprim | 10.5 gm |
| Sodium salicylate | 5 gm |
| Vitamin K | 1 gm |
Indications
For the treatment and prevention of poultry coccidiosis, fowl cholera and fowl
typhoid.
For the treatment and prevention of coccidiosis in swine.
Dosage and Administration
The oral dosage of sulphaquinoxaline + trimethoprim is 30mg active ingredients
per kg body weight per day.
Poultry coccidiosis
Administer orally 1.5 ml of Novacoc solution to 1 litre of
drinking water.
Medicate for three days and discontinue the treatment for two to three days,
and then repeat medication at the same dose for another three days.
Medicated water should be the only source of drinking water.
Poultry typhoid and cholera
Administer orally 1.5 ml of Novacoc solution to 1 litre of
drinking water, for 3-5 days.
Swine
Administer orally 1.5 ml Novacoc per 10kg body weight, for
5 days.
To prevent precipitation of the solution due to different quality of water, always add the required dose of this solution direct to the water tank and stir well. Do not prepare any intermediate solution.
Warnings
Do not use this preparation to treat laying flocks as it may reduce the hatchability.
Do not use in birds laying eggs for human consumption.
Store in cool, dark place. Protect from sunlight.
